Gloria Chang is a journalist, writer and broadcaster based in Vancouver, Canada. Over the past 12 years, she has written, reported, produced, and directed for some of Canada's most prominent broadcasters and publishers including: CTV Vancouver, CBC French Television, Discovery Channel Canada, CBC Radio, and Transcontinental Publishing. Her stories have appeared in Vancouver Magazine, GEIST magazine, and Vancouver Sun Travel. She has also launched two major Canadian editorial websites: Transcontinental Publishing's Mochasofa.ca, and exn.ca, Discovery Channel Canada Online (now discoverychannel.ca).

Three years ago, Gloria turned her focus to in-depth storytelling, concentrating on perspective-based columns and magazine features, and social/cultural documentaries for radio and television. She writes a regular column for The Richmond Review and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's Viewpoint & Analysis, called West Coast Living, and is currently in production on two radio documentaries for CBC Radio (14 minutes, 1 hour). A recent research investigate (story development & production as writer/director) with the National Film Board will likely be turned into a short film and laid the groundwork for a creative non-fiction book.

Gloria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory from McGill University and a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Western Ontario. She speaks English, French and Korean.

She was born in Seoul, South Korea, had a fling with Montreal and a rather serious relationship with Toronto, but is currently back with her first love Vancouver, British Columbia.
